This menu has limited options if no image is opened in SPIN. The options available are
Increment Image by :
1 2 3 4 8 18 Images can be incremented successively (for option 1) or by the number of increments (2,3,4 etc) depending on the user's choice.
Check DICOM Header for open series:
This option looks at the dicom header to determine what files are part of the same series rather than looking at just the file name. This can be used to open a dicom series if “sort dicom” has not been run. However, since it has to look at the header of every file in the folder it can take some time to open a series, particularly if there are a lot of files.
There are wide variety of preferences available when once an image is opened in any selectable image format that SPIN reads. The available preferences are
Ventricle mirror: The image gets inverted into its mirror (upside down -180 degrees).
90 degree revolt:
Horizontal and ventricle mirror: The image gets flipped left - right.
Zoom factor: There are 4 options (2,4, 8 and 16) available to zoom the image either by the “zoom in” option or the “zoom entire image” option available on the tool bar.
Gibbs ringing filter factor: This sets the power that the Hanning filter is raised to for the Fourier zoom (windowed Sinc). Higher powers apply a stronger filter and remove more Gibb’s ringing but cause more smoothing, while lower powers apply a weaker filter that removes less Gibb’s ringing but cause less smoothing. This menu has 11 options 0,1,0.2,0.3,0.35,0.4,05,0.6,0.7,0.8,0.9 and custom .
Dynamic programming search radius: This menu has 8 options Search radius: 1,2,3,4,5,6,8 12 and 16 pixels .
Dynamic programming parameters:
Repeat boundary tracking using DP: This menu has 5 options Repeat 10,15,20,50 and 100
Smooth tracked Boundary: This menu has 6 options Resampling 1/1, 1/5, 1/10, 1/20, 1/50 and 1/100.

Automatical boundary import:
Crop Entire series: This causes the crop operation to be applied to the entire series that is opened.
Copy Window Level
This function copies the brightness and the contrast levels of the active image.
Paste Window Level
This function applies the brightness and the contrast levels of the copied image to the active image.
Paste Window Level To All
This function applies the brightness and the contrast levels of the copied image to all the opened images.
